Enable Appointment Reminders
To avoid costly no-shows, take advantage of automated emails and sms messages to remind your clients of upcoming appointments. Enable reminders with a couple clicks.
Important:
For a client to receive sms and email appointment reminders, their client record must be set to allow messages. This is set on the Contact Info tab of a client's profile.
1. Getting started
Click Settings in the main navigation menu to get to the Messaging section.
2. Messaging settings
Find the Messaging tab to view all automated messaging handled by TherapyZen
3. Enable/disable SMS (text message) appointment reminders
Locate the SMS Appointment Reminders area of settings. Click the toggle to enable or disable appointment reminders by email.
Important Note:
All appointment reminders by SMS are generated and sent 24 hours prior to the client's scheduled appointment. Sms messaging is free for U.S. based customers, however international rates will be applied outside the U.S.
4. Enable/disable email appointment reminders
Locate the System Generated Emails area of settings. Click the toggle to enable or disable appointment reminders by email.
Important Note:
All appointment reminders by email are generated and sent 48 hours prior to the client's scheduled appointment.

This is an example of the email your client will receive to remind them of their upcoming appointment details.
