Merging Duplicate Client Records
Duplicate client records can happen on occasion. Use the client merge tool to consolidate duplicate client records into a single record.
1. Getting Started
Navigate to the Clients area of Therapyzen to begin the client merge process. Find the duplicate records and click the checkbox next to each client name to select them for merging. Once you have selected two records, the Merge button will become enabled. Click the Merge button to proceed to the client merge form.
2. Merge the Duplicate Client Records
The client merge form will show the client details for each record you are about to merge. Pick and choose the data you would like to keep as the primary information for the newly merged record.
3. Review, Confirm and Merge
Once you have hand-picked the client data you would like to keep as the master record, you are now ready to merge. The confirmation section will show you which additional client data will be consolidated upon merging the two records. When ready, click the checkbox to confirm you are ready to merge. Click the I Understand, Merge Now button to complete the client merge.
Once the merge is complete, you will be redirected back to the Clients area of Therapyzen. From there, you should only see the newly created master record.
